Our tour will begin at a dairy that produces excellence from Campania, the famous BUFFALO MOZZARELLA. During the visit we will explain the various stages of production that lead to the transformation of buffalo milk into tasty mozzarella, then we will move to the farm and get to know these powerful but very docile animals that produce such nectar.
Obviously we will be invited to taste the final product, our white gold, the still hot mozzarella, just shaped by expert hands, a delicacy for the palate appreciated by gourmets all over the world.
The day continues with a visit to SESSA AURUNCA, an ancient medieval village, where we will have the opportunity to visit the DUCAL CASTLE (10th century) and the CATHEDRAL (11th century) dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul, an admirable Romanesque work inside which preserves a ambo of fine workmanship and a mosaic floor. The visit will end at the panoramic viewpoint from which we can admire the beautiful gulf.
After visiting the city, continue to taste another divine nectar, the 'FALERNO del massico DOC' wine.
VINUM FALERNUM has been known since the late Republican age by illustrious characters, ancient Latin writers who loved and praised this wine, such as Cicero, Virgil, Horace, Pliny the Elder.
We will taste the "Falerno wine" in a winery renowned for the high quality of the product and we will listen to the story of each wine, a story that will make us discover an ancient land full of mysteries.
